Our Vision
I have a vision of a large church - because I have a vision of a church that sees unprecedented numbers of people finding answers in Christ - I have a vision of a healthy church - because it is Bible based, Christ centred and empowered by the Holy Spirit - I have a vision of a passionate church - because the cause of Christ is worth it - I have a vision of a generous church - because we are blessed to be a blessing - I have a vision of an influential church - because true leadership can inspire positive change – I have a vision of a unified church – because we understand that we can do far more together - I have a vision of a dynamic church - because the church has discovered its purpose - I have a vision of a mobilised church - because need, needs walking talking answers - I have a vision of a relevant church - because the world needs to understand us, to know they need what we have.
I have a vision of a church that makes history and has a significant impact on eternity.
This is our vision for Seaview Church.
Nathanael & Bec Wood,
Seaview Church
Our Journey
Seaview Church is a church on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. A church that in this generation continues to reach and influence the world!
Nathanael and Bec Wood are extremely thankful for their rich spiritual and church heritage, having had the opportunity to grow up in Australia’s leading church (Hillsong Church) and also to serve there on the pastoral team.
In response to a clear call and with the support of the leadership of Hillsong Church, they stepped out in faith and pursued what God had placed on the their heart. To pioneer and build a significant church, based in the North of Sydney.
Seaview Church started in Nathanael and Bec’s home, August 2002 with 7 adults and their two kids and commenced public services three months later on November 17, 2002. The church met in the Harbord Public School Hall before moving into a bigger and better facility at Warringah Mall, April 2005.
[It is the heart and vision of the church to have multiple locations
that all unite in purpose, focusing on reaching their local area for
the cause of Jesus Christ. Plans are currently underway for the next
new location, which will be announced in due course.]
Our journey continues…
